It was a simple but moving occasion and just what Diana would have wanted. I attended as a member of Gabrielle's family - but was also aware of Diana's work and courage. I must tell you this - I was watching Margaret Thatcher's funeral and they started to sing a hymn that made me sit bolt upright. It was called To A Pilgrim. I was instantly transported to a little church on the Port Hills. You can imagine the power of the song being sung in Westminster Cathedral - but it sounded just as good in St Augustine's Church on Cracroft Terrace!
